StayRule offers fair and transparent refund practices. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued and how to request them.

7-Day Free Trial: We provide a full 7-day free trial with no payment required. This allows you to evaluate all features before committing to a paid plan.

1. Refund Eligibility

Eligible Refunds

  • Duplicate charges due to technical error
  • Charges on cancelled accounts within 24 hours
  • Billing errors or unauthorized charges
  • Service unavailable for more than 72 hours during billing period

Non-Refundable

  • Subscription fees after 24 hours from billing
  • Usage-based charges
  • Third-party fees or taxes
  • Account downgrades or changes

2. Subscription Plans

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Billed monthly in advance
  • Non-refundable after 24 hours
  • Cancellation effective at end of billing period

Annual Subscriptions

  • Billed annually in advance
  • Non-refundable after 24 hours
  • Pro-rated refunds for service unavailability

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Allow 5-7 business days for processing

4. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed through Paddle directly:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days
  • Bank transfer refunds: 3-5 business days
  • PayPal refunds: Immediate to 24 hours

5. Account Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log into your StayRule account
  • Navigate to Billing settings
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Account remains active until end of billing period

6. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank:

  • We will investigate and resolve issues promptly
  • Disputes should be a last resort

7. Exceptions

We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Technical issues preventing platform access
  • Major platform changes affecting core functionality
  • Compassionate circumstances
